       Glodok is a derived from language sunda ( golodog ) having meaning namely the entrance of the house , why are called that because of the sunda kelapa ( jakarta was the entrance to the kingdom of sunda .Because before controlled dutch bring the workers from various regions to enter into betawi or batavia karen mayoritasnya inhabited by the sunda .Said changes “G” be “K” because words often found in the sunda by non-sunda eja , especially the tribe of java and malay then a lot of inhabiting the city .
